Method 1: Flashing Infinix X680 with SP Flash Tool
Requirements
SP Flash Tool – Download Here
Infinix X680 Stock Firmware – Get the correct firmware for your model (www.gmtfiles.com or official sources).
MTK USB Drivers – Install MediaTek VCOM drivers (Download Here)
USB Cable & Windows PC
Steps to Flash with SP Flash Tool
- Extract Firmware & Tools
- Unzip the Infinix X680 firmware
- Extract SP Flash Tool
- Install MTK Drivers
- Install MTK USB VCOM Drivers
- Restart your computer
- Load Firmware in SP Flash Tool
- Open flash_tool.exe as Administrator
- Click “Choose” under Scatter-loading File
- Locate and select the scatter.txt file inside the firmware folder
- Select Flashing Mode
- Choose “Download Only” (DO NOT select “Format + Download” unless necessary)
- Connect Phone in Flash Mode
- Turn off the phone
- Hold Volume Down or Volume Up while plugging in USB
- SP Flash Tool should detect the device
- Start Flashing
- Click “Download”
- Wait for the process to complete (Green Check Mark appears)
- Reboot the Device
- Disconnect and power on the phone

Infinity CM2MT2 Tool (Paid Software)
MTK USB Drivers (Same as above)
Infinix X680 Firmware (Scatter File)

Steps to Flash with CM2
- Install CM2 Tool & Drivers
- Install Infinity CM2MT2
- Install MTK USB drivers
- Load Firmware in CM2
- Open CM2MT2
- Click “Flash”
- Select Scatter File from the firmware
- Put Phone in Flash Mode
- Turn off the phone
- Hold Volume Down and connect USB
- Start Flashing
- Click Start
- Wait until flashing is complete
- Reboot Phone
- Disconnect and power it on
